The Heathrow Airport Livecast!

In this episode, Rob and Ben are finally reunited after a challenging five months spent in different continents. Will they still get on in-person? How will they cope with the pressure of having real, live, actual-factual fans present? What about the new technology they have to work with? When will it all end?

Also, you can expect to hear a slightly more ambient pondcast this time round. Ben's soul was so distraught at the thought of possibly ruining the first ever Live Pondcast that it made a metaphysical, audial attempt to express itself into the editing process.

Highlights include:

Too much visual stimulus.
Ambient noise!
Genuine fan interaction.
World's oldest goth.
World's smallest tumbleweed.

wonderful. I especially enjoyed Rob's pseud-O-rant, and Ben's insistance that 1990 was when the 80's really got going.

I think it was 1991, personally.

She caught me at a very intimate moment. I didn't think it was possible to be sad at something you yourself are saying.

I chose not to elaborate on the pondcast itself, but I actually think that truly the 80s reached it's nadir in 1993. Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles and shell-suits on the market stalls. In Middlesbrough.

I thought that Rob's closing thought worked very well at the end. I contemplated putting the theme from Curb Your Enthusiasm as a music bed while Rob talked, but decided that would be mean.
