Hey! We're totally back!

Where've you been? What's been going on in your life?

After so long away it's difficult to know exactly where to come back - so we ended up speaking about the things that came off the top of our head. We review the world's leading pondcast, and get some feedback from the wonderful guys at Across the Pond podcast.

Competition time:

Dear Sir,

We are young, British whippersnappers and we think that we have the best pondcast available on the web. Yours is quite good, and we review it on our most recent show (Episode 6. Back in the Saddle). This may be of interest to you.

We believe that Minnesota is not really the Hockey State at all, as proclaimed on PONDCAST 973. We think that it's 'the state of 10,000 quite good lakes', and Wikipedia defines it as, 'The North Star State', amongst others. Whilst we admire the jovial nature of your host, Jess Myers, we worry that he may be jaded and losing interest in the job.

Dear listeners,

Due to unforeseen changes in the lives of both our correspondents, Across the Pondcast is on the down-low, relegated to the backburner. Many apologies for the lack of a Christmas special, or regular updates.

We hope to be up and running in the near future with all of your favourite bits and pieces, stories and non-stories and general verbal discourse. In the meantime, please try and listen to some of the many other excellent pondcasts in existence. We're bound to review them soon.

We Don't Have It! - Episode 5

"When it comes to marketing, I'm an aggressive marketer. And, I think I'm going to be aggressive with them [other internet Pondcasters] and say, 'Hey! Whaddya think? We want to take some of your market share away from you.'"

Dear Sirs,

We found your podcast hard work and thought that perhaps you hadnât put a lot of effort into your interview technique. Perhaps you could have started in a more exciting fashion than simply saying âHiâGuest.â? However, I loved the lively musicbed that you boys chose to represent your no nonsense attitude to gaming. Unfortunately, my cohost found it portentous. He would have wanted me to pass on that little bit of constructive criticism.

We believe that we deserve a bit of your market share, being more entertaining and such [just to say], so perhaps you could do us the favour of giving us a shout out on your next atp podcast.

In this episode, Rob and Ben are finally reunited after a challenging five months spent in different continents. Will they still get on in-person? How will they cope with the pressure of having real, live, actual-factual fans present? What about the new technology they have to work with? When will it all end?

Also, you can expect to hear a slightly more ambient pondcast this time round. Ben's soul was so distraught at the thought of possibly ruining the first ever Live Pondcast that it made a metaphysical, audial attempt to express itself into the editing process.
